Hispanic Heritage Month
This month (September) LaGuardia celebrates National Hispanic Serving Institutions (HSI) Week and Hispanic Heritage Month. HSI Week, observed September 11 – 17, commemorates the contributions of more than 500 Hispanic-Serving Institutions nationwide in their work to advance postsecondary student success for all students. Also, in celebration of Hispanic Heritage Month (HHM), September 15 to October 15, LaGuardia is proud to recognize and celebrate the many contributions, diverse cultures, and extensive histories of the American Latino community.
