Welcome
The new Community Health and Wellness Department, launched in Fall 2024, aims to help prepare students for roles in the workforce that maintain and enhance the health and wellness of New York communities. The department offers diverse programs in Culinary Management, Human Services—Mental Health, Nutrition, Public and Community Health, and Therapeutic Recreation. Whether you are interested in improving individual well-being, addressing public health challenges, or supporting mental health and wellness, the programs led by expert faculty provide you with critical skills, knowledge, hands-on experience, and, in some cases, certifications/credentials that set graduates apart and command rewarding careers with purposeful community impact.
