About

Dr. Praveenkumar Khethavath is a Professor in LaGuardia’s Mathematics, Engineering and Computer Science department, and has been a member of the faculty since 2014. He is currently the Director of the Computer Science programs. He received his Ph.D. from the Department of Computer Science at Oklahoma State University in 2014. His current research interests include cloud computing, cyber physical systems, wireless sensor networks, cybersecurity, robotics, and software development. He teaches both basic and advanced level Computer Science courses. His work with students focuses on developing cutting edge research in areas such as robotics, cloud computing, cybersecurity and healthcare.
