About

Professor Frank Wang received his Ph.D. in physics from Columbia University. He joined LaGuardia in 2004 and has authored the textbook Physics with MAPLE: The Computer Algebra Resources for Mathematical Methods in Physics (Wiley-VCH), and numerous research papers. In 2015, Dr. Wang was elected to serve as a board member of the National Numeracy Network. As a Media Highlights correspondent for the College Mathematics Journal, Dr. Wang writes about a broad range of topics, including quantum computation, topological insulators, social network, and theatrical mathematics.
