About

Dr. Doyel Pal is a Professor of Computer Science in the Mathematics, Engineering and Computer Science (MEC) department. She has been a faculty member since 2016. She received her Ph.D. in Computer Science from Oklahoma State University in 2015. She oversees the Network Administration and Information Security/ Cybersecurity major at LaGuardia. Dr. Pal has led and contributed to numerous projects aimed at preparing students for successful careers and fostering career advancement. Her research interests span diverse areas such as data privacy, cybersecurity, cloud computing, robotics, and health informatics. Dr. Pal’s commitment extends beyond research, as she actively mentors numerous LaGuardia students, guiding them through both undergraduate research and career pursuits.
