Dr. Anja Vojvodic is a Lecturer in the Social Sciences Department at LaGuardia. She also directs the Political Science Option in the department. She teaches Global Politics and Law and Human Rights in the United States regularly at LaGuardia. Anja also co-advises the Model United Nations Program at the college. She serves on the LaGuardia Humanitarian Initiative’s College Faculty Committee. Anja has a PhD in Political Science from Rutgers University, New Brunswick, which she earned in 2020. She is a proud CUNY alumna, earning her B.A. in Political Science from the CUNY Macaulay Honors College at Queens College in 2005. Anja has an academic interest in global politics, women in politics, and social movements, in particular women’s movements. Her regional area of expertise is Central and Eastern Europe.

Outside of academia, Anja is an avid fan of sports, particularly tennis and basketball. She also loves great tv shows, like, but not limited to, The Crown.
