About

Dr. Preethi Radhakrishnan is the current Program Director of the Environmental Science Program at LaGuardia. She teaches courses such as Anatomy and Physiology, a research based First Year Seminar, Animal Behavior and Ethics and Integrative Physiology. Dr. Radhakrishnan is passionate about creating an equitable classroom where student-centric learning is a priority. She manages two USDA grants focused on getting students interested in careers focused around urban agriculture, climate-resilient farming, and animal science. In her free time she enjoys hiking the Catskills with her two boys and their sheepdog.
