About

Professor Tom Fink regularly teaches Composition I, Composition II (Writing through Literature), and Technical Writing. He has also taught Introduction to Poetry, Creative Writing of Poetry, Introduction to Literary Studies, and Shakespeare. Dr. Fink is the author of 12 books of poetry, including Zeugma (Marsh Hawk Press, 2022) and Selected Poems & Poetic Series (Marsh Hawk Press, 2016). His work appears in Best American Poetry 2007 (Scribner’s), selected by Heather McHugh and David Lehman. He has published two books of literary criticism on contemporary poetry, as well as Reading Poetry with College and University Students: Overcoming Barriers and Deepening Engagement (Bloomsbury, 2022). In addition, he has co-edited two critical anthologies – most recently, Reading the Difficulties: Dialogues with Contemporary Innovative Poetry (University of Alabama Press, 2014) – and a writing through literature textbook. He runs the interview zine, Dichtung Yammer.
