About

Deirdre Flood is a lecturer in the English department at LaGuardia Community College, where she teaches composition and creative writing. She has a master’s in Liberal Arts-Film Studies from the CUNY Graduate Center, a bachelor’s in Creative Writing from Hunter College (CUNY), and an associate’s in English from LaGuardia Community College (CUNY). She is the co-mentor of LaGuardia’s Tabletop Gaming Club. Her research focuses on horror film studies and game-based learning in the writing classroom. Deirdre is a Queens, NY native and LaGuardia graduate.
