About

Eileen Barett is a seasoned chef with a passion for delicious and healthy food. As a chef, nutrition educator, and culinary instructor, she develops and leads programming for the National Sports Zone Foundation and the Boys Club of New York. She works with organizations to teach vulnerable communities about the positive impact of healthy food. She has also been a private chef for over a decade, offering nutritious meals to clients throughout New York City and outside of New York.

Professor Barett is also the co-owner and executive chef of Aromas Boutique Bakery, an online cake boutique and of ChefEileen.life. The Aromas team was inducted into the Knot Magazine Hall of Fame twice and won Best in Weddings in the Knot Magazine from 2015 to 2023.

Aromas caters to private clients, corporations and other restaurants and cafes. They specialize in custom cakes, gifts, and education. Professor Barett is also a staff writer for the food section of the New York Amsterdam News and an Adjunct Professor at LaGuardia.
