Student Conduct Code

Academic dishonesty is prohibited in the City University of New York and is punishable by penalties ranging from a grade of “F” on a given test, research paper or assignment, to an “F” in the course, or suspension or expulsion from the College. Academic dishonesty includes: cheating, plagiarism, Internet plagiarism, obtaining unfair advantage, falsification of records and official documents and misconduct on internships.

Because academic dishonesty violates everyone who depends on the integrity of the College, its degrees, certificates and its courses, the College has the responsibility of making every effort to cultivate the highest standard of academic integrity and conduct.

For all student rules of conduct and disciplinary procedures, please refer to the Student Handbook
