T-Shirt Design Contest
What does “LaGuardia: Built for Love” mean to you? We’re inviting all LaGuardia students to bring their creativity to life by designing an original T-shirt illustration that expresses this theme.
Your design should reflect the pride, diversity, and spirit of the LaGuardia community—capturing what makes our campus feel like it’s truly built with care, passion, and love. Whether it’s friendship, culture, resilience, or imagination, show us how you see LaGuardia.
Deadline for submissions is November 21, 2025.
LaGuardia students, faculty, and staff will vote on the winning T-shirt design.
PLEASE NOTE: The use of automated programs or bots to vote on a design is highly discouraged and can result in the disqualification of a design submission. The winner will be announced by President Kenneth Adams on December 10, 2025, during his Closing Sessions.
Prizes
- First Place: $50 gift card, LaGuardia goodie bag, and design placed on a T-shirt
- Second Place: $25 gift card and LaGuardia goodie bag
- Third Place: $15 gift card and LaGuardia goodie bag
Rules and Guidelines
- The T-shirt design contest is only open to current LaGuardia students.
- T-shirt design submissions must be original digital illustrations.
- Designers may use a variety of colors to make their design vibrant and expressive.
- Designers cannot use or alter the official LaGuardia logo in any way.
- Designs must be 12 X 12 inches, submitted at a minimum 300dpi, and in a PNG or PDF format.
- Student designers must also include a 350-word description of the design.
- Each student designer can only submit ONE original design.
