• When it comes to paying for college, you have options

  • We offer grants, scholarships, tuition payment plans, on/off campus jobs, and information about loans to cover college costs such as tuition, books, supplies and transportation. You might be surprised to find out how much financial aid you can receive, regardless of your family’s income level. You won’t know what you are eligible for unless you apply!

NY DREAM Act gives undocumented and other students access to New York State‐administered grants and scholarships that support their higher education costs.

The NY DREAM Act opens the doors of higher education to thousands of students, providing access to the new Excelsior Scholarship, the Tuition Assistance Program, as well as other state‐administered scholarships that were not previously available to them.

    What you need to know:
    • College Tuition - TAP - PELLFoundation Scholarship = Excelsior Scholarship.
    • The Excelsior Scholarship covers tuition only; if your tuition costs are fully covered by Pell and/or TAP, you will not qualify for the Excelsior Scholarship.
    • If you are a new student, you must have completed 15 credits at the end of the Spring 2018.
    • If you are a current or transfer student, you must have completed 30 credits each year (successively), applicable toward your degree program, and register 15 credits for Fall 2018.
    • You don’t have to choose between work or school. If your household income is less than $110,000, you may qualify.
    • You must take courses in Session I and Session II that count toward your major and maintain good academic standing.
    • You must plan to live and work in New York following graduation for the length of time that you participate in the scholarship program.
    • If you drop to less than 15 credits during the semester, you will become ineligible.
