College Level
Examination Program (CLEP)

The College-Level Examination Program (CLEP) is the most widely accepted credit-by-examination program in the United States today, helping students of all ages to earn credit for what they already know. You can earn from 3 to 12 college credits toward a college degree for each CLEP exam taken, depending on the exam subject and the policy of the college or university. LaGuardia Community College takes up to 30 CLEP credits.
