Do you have questions about completing an ePortfolio assignment? Do you want to learn more about college resources? Do you need advice from a fellow LaGuardia student? Students enrolled in a First Year Seminar course can receive in-person, walk-in support from an SSM in the FYS Student SuccessHub in room C-447
Fall I 2025 Hours
The FYS Student Success Hub will be open for walk-in support for students enrolled in a First Year Seminar starting Monday, September 15 – no appointment necessary!
- Monday – Thursday: 10 a.m. – 6:30 p.m.
- Friday: 10 a.m. – 2 p.m.
- Saturday: 9:30 a.m. – 2 p.m.
Two important notes for students regarding the FYS Student Success Hub
- Receiving support from an SSM in the Student Success Hub is not an alternative to attending your First Year Seminar Studio Hour lab. You are still required to attend the weekly Studio Hour sessions with your SSM.
- SSMs are available in the Student Success Hub based on their availability. You may not necessarily receive an appointment with your SSM. However, all SSMs are trained and knowledgeable about the First Year Seminar course and ePortfolio. If you’d like to meet with your specific SSM, you are encouraged to contact them directly to set up an appointment.
