Statement from President Adams Against Murders in Atlanta

March 18, 2021

The horrific murders in Atlanta of eight people, six of them women of Asian descent, are horrible and reprehensible. We offer condolences to the families of the victims. And while we mourn these eight lives so tragically lost, we must recognize and condemn the rise in hate crimes against Asian Americans, and against women. LaGuardia Community College resolutely denounces this violence, and stands firmly against hatred, hostility, bigotry, and violence.
