Celebrate Pride, Health, and Wellness on the LaGuardia Community Greenway with a free, family-friendly outdoor event featuring games, music, refreshments, and giveaways. Local stylists from Otis & Dunn will be on-site offering haircuts, and attendees can pick up a limited-edition LGBTQ+ comics anthology. The event will also connect guests with vital community health and wellness resources, including information on HIV and STD/I screening, health insurance and SNAP enrollment, Medicaid and Medicare, family support services, and pregnancy testing. Free blood pressure checks will be offered by the LaGuardia Nursing Club.
This celebration is organized by the LaGuardia Community College President’s Office, Casa de las Américas, The Women’s Center & LGBTQ+ Hub, Health Services Center, and The Wellness Center.
