November 28, 2024: Jasmine Edwards, a professor at LaGuardia Community College and certified therapeutic recreation specialist, serves on the board of Arts For All, an arts organization dedicated to bringing artistic opportunities to students in New York City.

November 27, 2024: The LaGuardia Community College Foundation is seeking donations on Giving Tuesday, December 3, to support students. Additionally, LaGuardia CARES is requesting donations of non-perishable food, winter clothing, and toiletries to assist students during the upcoming holiday season, a time when needs are often greatest, especially for student-parents.

November 21, 2024: LaGuardia Community College is ranked No. 5 among U.S. two-year colleges in economic mobility—moving low-income people to the middle class and beyond—in a Stanford University study. LaGuardia is ranked as the top school for RN and LPN training in the state by several medical news outlets and has the largest English as a Second Language program in New York City.
