The USDA Beltsville Agricultural Research Center (BARC) trip offers LaGuardia students a unique opportunity to visit the largest agricultural research complex in the United States. During this one-day educational experience, students will meet USDA scientists, tour research facilities, and learn about cutting-edge work in animal genomics, nutrition, food safety, sustainable agriculture, entomology, and pollinator health. The trip connects classroom learning with real-world research and supports students’ academic and career development in agriculture, veterinary science, and environmental science.
