Know Your Rights workshops & Neighborhood Defense Training by The New York Immigration Coalition (NYIC)

The New York Immigration Coalition (NYIC) who offer interactive and robust Know Your Rights workshops & Neighborhood Defense Training. KYR presentations cover: types of immigration enforcement agents, individual rights in different spaces and situations, interactions with ICE, & how to be prepared.

This program is organized by The LaGuardia Community College Student Advocacy via Frontline Efforts (SAFE) Committee. SAFE effectuates responses to sociopolitical matters that impact LaGuardia’s student body. Our primary goal is to facilitate programming and informational events or campaigns that support a number of student groups.
