Dear LaGuardia Community,
On November 11, our nation observes Veterans Day — a time to honor the courage, sacrifice, and service of our veterans and active-duty military. We proudly recognize members of the LaGuardia family — students, faculty, staff, and alumni — who have served our country in uniform.
Your dedication has safeguarded our freedoms and way of life. You have our deepest gratitude — not only on Veterans Day, but every day of the year.
At LaGuardia, we are proud to support military veterans and their families as they transition from service to civilian life. I want to express special appreciation to our Veterans Resource Center for their ongoing commitment to helping veterans, reservists, and active-duty personnel pursue their educational goals. Our veterans strengthen the diversity and character that define LaGuardia Community College. To our student veterans, especially — thank you for choosing LaGuardia as part of your academic journey.
As we celebrate Veterans Day, please take a moment to thank those who have served or are currently serving. Their sacrifices, and those of their families, make possible the freedoms we all cherish.
Happy Veterans Day.
Warm regards,
Kenneth Adams
President
