Alex Bero studied book conservation and information science at the University of Texas at Austin. He has worked in book conservation at several NYC cultural institutions, including the American Museum of Natural History, the Frick Art Reference Library, New York University and now the New York Public Library. Currently, he is the conservation lead for the Treasures exhibition, a position he has had since 2019.
