6W2 courses take place April 24 – June 14, 2021, during the second half of the spring semester.
Instruction Modes All upcoming 6W2 courses will be conducted online. Here’s what that means: Online – Class instruction occurs remotely via a computer or tablet and can be synchronous or asynchronous.
The new 6W2 session takes place in the second half of Session I; classes are offered in a six-week format allowing new and continuing students to make additional progress toward their degree. See specific dates below.
Taking 6W2 classes is ideal for new students that missed the start of Spring Session I or want to get a jump-start on the Fall semester. Be sure to complete your CUNY application by the deadline above and contact our Admissions team for assistance at firstname.lastname@example.org. Current LaGuardians may add 6W2 courses through CUNYfirst; speaking with your advisor is recommended. Please also see credit load information below. If you're a new LaGuardian and you have credentials from outside the U.S., need to complete a remedial course or require testing, you are not eligible at this time. Contact 718-482-5000 or email@example.com if you have questions.
Students may not register for more than 18 equated credits per 12-week session: Spring Session I (12-week) + Spring 6W2 (6-week) = 18 equated credits or less.
Financial aid may be available for full time students; contact Student Financial Services to review your overall eligibility for financial aid.
