Q: Why is the Library being renovated? A: The first phase of the Library renovation, on the mezzanine and second floor, expanded the amount of seating available for students to use. In the second phase scheduled to begin at a later date, the first floor will be renovated. Q: Where are the computers in the renovated Library? A: Computer workstations are available on both the first and second floors. On the first floor, they are to the left of the Library Stacks and in the IT Lab near the new periodicals. On the second floor, they are in the Media Lab. Q: Are all books available in the Library now? A: Yes! All books will be available in the Library Stacks (First Floor) once they have been moved from storage. They include our regular loan, circulating collection books. Unfortunately, the books in this collection will not be accessible during this process beginning Friday, May 5th and ending Friday, May 26th. However, once completed, all books will be available. You will NO LONGER have to request books from the stacks through the Library Catalog or CUNY OneSearch, as was required during the renovation, and wait 24 hours for it to be available. Q: Who can I contact about the Library renovation? A: For questions about the Library renovation, please contact Scott White, Chief Librarian at 718-482-5421 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
