About

Dr. Evelyn Burg earned her Ph.D. in History at the CUNY Graduate Center, specializing in late American and European intellectuals. She also holds an M.A. and B.A. in Philosophy.  She has taught at the School of Visual Arts, Marymount College, Queens College, and for 30 years at LaGuardia Community College. She has a strong interest in rhetoric and in the intersection of aesthetics, philosophy and political attitudes, and the history of American intellectual life. She also has a secondary interest in American law.
