The Student Success Mentor Program
The First Year Experience leadership is moving forward with three main initiatives during the 2015-16 academic year: the FYS Brown Bag Series, the First Year Experience Mini-Conference, and Digital FYE Resource Development. Designed for faculty who teach the First Year Seminar, the initiatives will offer opportunities to reflect and to build on shared FYS expertise. To learn more, please click here
The First Year Seminar deposits assessment artifacts by the middle of the semester (early assignments) and at the end of the semester (late assignments). The faculty member’s role is to inform the Student Success Mentor about which assignment to deposit and when to. The assessment deposit takes place during the Studio Hour.
