There are 17 majors and 1 certificate program in Health, Mathematics and Science offered at LaGuardia Community College. These degrees combine core requirements, concentrated coursework, and hands-on experience to maximize your learning. There is also a Liberal Arts: Math and Science Option for students with interest in more than one major. With 11 of the premier Allied Health programs in New York, our students pass statewide licensing exams at one of the highest rates in the nation, and often receive multiple employment and transfer offers upon graduation. Note: Due to the high volume of applicants, majors highlighted or marked with * have limited student capacity for their mandatory clinical lab phase. Students are unable to apply for candidacy to take clinical lab courses unless they meet all the requirements for their specific major’s pre-clinical courses. Please review the candidacy guidelines for these majors. LaGuardia graduates who have planned their education carefully can often transfer to four-year institutions as juniors. Meet regularly with a LaGuardia academic advisor and visit the Office of Transfer Services to plan for your graduation and transfer.
