Q:5-
WHAT ARE MY CHANCES OF GETTING INTO THE PROGRAM?
A: All four key courses must be completed and
a minimum of a 2.50 GPA will be considered for acceptance
into the program. Since the number of students permitted
to progress each semester is limited this GPA does not
guarantee that a student will be selected for progression.
Admission into the program is competitive based on ones
overall GPA and seat availability.

Q:6-
IF I AM NOT ACCEPTED
INTO THE PROGRAM CAN I APPLY AGAIN?
A:Students are limited to a maximum of two attempts
at candidacy.

|
Q:7-HOW
MANY CLINICAL HOURS DO I NEED TO COMPLETE?
A:There is one part time affiliation of 100 hours
and two full time affiliations of 280 hours each. Each
clinical affiliation is accompanied by a weekly seminar
class that is held one evening per week. The part time
affiliation begins after successful completion of three
Clinical PTA courses. The two full time affiliations begin
after successful completion of all Clinical coursework.
There are no waivers or exemptions from these affiliations.
It is usually not feasible for students to continue working
while they are on their clinical affiliations. We recommend
that students begin financial planning for this period
as soon as they have been accepted into the clinical phase
of the program.

Q:8-
WILL MY CREDITS BE ABLE TO BE TRANSFERRED TO A P.T. PROGRAM?
A:Currently no Physical Therapy Programs
are accepting transfer of credits obtained during the
Clinical Phase of the Program. The pre-requisites for
entrance into the PTA Program, i.e. the basic science
courses are sometimes transferable.
