Mom Power Lunch Hour : Success and Challenges of Being a Mom I Parent

PRE-AWARD Developing and Submitting your Grant Proposal at LaGuardia: Rules, Tips and Tricks

Latinx Heritage Committee : Mark Oshiro

Join us for an open creative writing workshop with award-winning young adult and science fiction Latinx author Mark Oshiro. There will also be a Q&A with students about his new novel Anger is a Gift, the story of a young black, queer boy whose father is the victim of police violence. Moss Davis finds himself fighting back against police surveillance when his school attempts to install metal detectors. Come learn from and hear the story of this amazing author as part of the Latinx Authors' Series.
