It is offered to faculty who know, in advance, that they cannot attend a specific class session. In lieu of students missing a session, a career advisor or an employment specialist will lead a discussion on a specific topic during the regularly scheduled class. The goal of each is to foster lifelong skills that can be utilized both in the classroom setting and in the workplace. Contact Jessica Perez at email@example.com at least 3 weeks in advance.
The Center for Career & Professional Development staff is also available to conduct presentations for the classes you teach and the student organizations you advise, about job search tools, career and major selection, or a topic of your choice..
