    Thank you so much for your support of the ePortfolio Project at LaGuardia. We are excited to assist you and your students in the creation of ePortfolios for your course.To help us meet your needs, please complete the ePortfolio Workshop Request Form below at least 2 weeks in advance.

    b. Step-by-step demonstration of creating an ePortfolio in Digication.
    c. Hands-on-activity of creating your own ePortfolio.

    Note: Please remind your students to bring their class
    work/assignments in digital format.

    ePortfolio Consultants will provide step-by-step instructions on each of the foregoing media.
    Hard-copies of tutorials will also be provided so faculty can follow along easily.
    Tutorials to be posted on the ePortfolio website will also be made available.
    During the workshops, faculty will be asked to bring materials they can work on.

    Digital Communications is one of the communication abilities designed to measure and demonstrate any one of the three new higher-order competencies to be assessed at LaGuardia. The abilityto communicate effectively using digital media will provide LaGuardia graduates an enhanced capacity to succeed in a technologically driven and knowledge-based economy. To this end, these how-to workshops using the following software applications will be provided to help faculty help their students design and develop digital communication artifacts, or evidence of learning, that will be deposited in the assessment area of the ePortfolio system.
     S4d. These are a series of workshops where the faculty, assisted by the consultants, create and design ePortfolios based on their course’s or program’s learning objectives.

    Note: We have found it more beneficial if the faculty do actual hands-on rather than just a walk-through. If you have time, we encourage you to choose the hands-on and we recommend that you bring electronic copies of your CV or course portfolio so we will have something to work on during the training.
