• Foundation Scholarships

LaGuardia Community College Foundation Scholarships are made possible by contributions from generous donors who believe that deserving students like you should have a quality education without the financial burden. If you are eligible, the Foundation offers support to assist you with the rising cost of tuition, textbooks, transportation and fees associated with attending college.

Scholarships are awarded based on financial need, academic performance, community service, and extracurricular activities. Scholarship applications are accepted on a rolling basis, so students needing financial assistance are encouraged to apply.

LaGuardia Community College Foundation Scholarships offer eligible students support with the rising cost of tuition, textbooks, transportation and fees. On average, the Foundation awards 1,200 scholarships annually based on financial need, academic performance, community service, and extracurricular activities. With more than 11,200 of our degree students receiving financial aid annually, there are thousands more students who would benefit from a scholarship.

Foundation scholarships are made possible by contributions from generous donors like you who support our commitment to giving talented students and their families opportunities that may be otherwise unavailable to them.
