Getting Started with Blackboard
Blackboard is a course management system used campus-wide at LaGuardia available 24/7.
The system allows faculty to post course materials, deliver tests and surveys, hold online discussions, and facilitate many other course-related functions. Some additional features include Course Announcements, Online Quizzes and Surveys, and Course Study Groups.
All currently-enrolled students and teaching faculty have access to the Blackboard system.
As you look to get started using Blackboard, review the various resources available throughout this site and consider attending an upcoming face-to-face Blackboard workshop for LaGuardia faculty & staff.
Blackboard works best in the latest version of Mozilla Firefox. Blackboard will work in other browsers, but a few features may not function properly.
