Ms. Ann B. DiamondBiographyPrior to becoming a Financial Counselor, Ann B. Diamond was a portfolio manager, Vice President and Director of a private investment banking firm. She worked in the institutional brokerage and private banking fields for over fifteen years.Ann currently manages her own business as a Chartered Financial Consultant. In addition to counseling private clients, she conducts seminars and workshops in personal financial management. Ann believes that information, patience, and a high level of motivation are the most important elements to begin the process of establishing a financial plan.Ann has taught courses at The New School, Marymount College and the 92nd Street Y, and also presents workshops at private and non-profit organizations, professional associations and schools. She has written three books, “No More Fear of Finance,” “The Let’s Get Real Financial Journal” and “Putting It Together.” She has appeared on numerous radio and television programs across the country including CNN, Money Talks and The Nightly Business Report. Her contributions to newspapers and magazine articles include The New York Times, New York Newsday, USA Today, Kiplinger’s Personal Finance Magazine and Working Woman.
