    Jason is Founder and Creative Director of Linoto, which provides 100% linen sheets, napkins, tablecloths, curtains, towels and other products for the home. The company was founded in 2007 and operates from Manhattan, New York. Jason applied to the program in hopes of being introduced to new people and new ideas that would help him steer Linoto towards profitable business. Since graduating the program he has hired 5 additional employees and increased revenue by 84%.

    Michaella Blissett Williams – Cohort 12


    Michaella Blissett Williams is the Owner and Founder of [Salon]718 -- an upscale salon in the trendy neighborhoods of Fort Greene, and Prospect Heights, Brooklyn. They have become a staple in the community and, although they are in the business of beauty, they pride themselves on social action and giving back. They are a hair salon focused on cut, color, and treatments using some of the most respected brands such as L'Oreal, Moroccon Oil, and Surface. Since graduating from the Goldman Sachs 10,000 Small Businesses program they has doubled their revenue and opened a new location.





  • Daniel Powers, Jr. – Cohort 14


    Daniel Powers, Jr. is the Owner, President and CEO Real Brave, a music instruction, instrument rental and repair company. He founded the business in 2003 and operates it from Fresh Meadows, New York. Daniel joined the 10KSB program because he believed it was designed to help him learn tools necessary which he could in turn give to his employees, the systems in his business and his managers. Since graduating the program he has opened two additional locations, hired 18 new employees and increased revenue by 118%.

    Tony Yang – Cohort 12


    Tony Yang is President of Gig Computers, Inc., an IT consulting company focusing on small to medium sized businesses. He founded the company in 1995 and operates it from Albany, New York. Tony joined the 10KSB program because he wanted to get the company back to where it was decades ago revenue-wise. Since graduating the program he has hired 6 new employees and increased revenue by 109%.





  • Wendy Wollner – Cohort 5


    Wendy is president and owner of Balancing Life’s Issues, Inc., a national provider of custom work and life balance corporate training programs. She founded the company in 2001 and operates from Ossining, New York. Wendy joined 10KSB to expand her skills as a business owner. Since graduating from the program, she has hired 602 additional trainers and increased revenue by 78%.
