The Payroll Office oversees preparation of the College’s bi-weekly payroll for all employees. It does so by following appropriate Federal, State and City regulations. Working closely with the Business Office and the Office of Human Resources in an effort to process an efficient payroll in a timely manner; the Payroll Office prepares, verifies, audits, analyzes and processes accurate payments for all College employees. The Office is also responsible for withholding and submitting Federal, State and City taxes, entering time-sheets, tracking/implementing of annual leave, sick leave, overtime, and holiday compensation for Civil Service employees; handles Non-Resident Alien taxing for employees; processes and transmits all Direct Deposits for employees. In addition, the Payroll Office, along with the Office of Payroll Administration distributes W2’s and provides reissued statements.
