LaGuardia Community College was proud to host New York State Governor Andrew Cuomo and U.S. Senator Bernie Sanders, as the Governor announced a proposal to make public colleges TUITION-FREE for families making under $125,000 annually. The January 3rd announcement by Governor Cuomo was made before an enthusiastic audience of more than 1,000 people, which included LaGuardia students, faculty, and staff, elected officials, community leaders, and high school students.
